Some of you have asked about the name of this site, and what it means, so here is where I came up with it.
The word ology simply means a branch of learning, and with the amount of time I spend learning about photography I felt I should earn an ology in it.  And being a college drop out, but never making a floppity jillion dollars like Bill Gates, I could relate to the guy in this 80s ad.

So maybe if I work hard enough, I can earn an unofficial ology in photography ;o)
