Volunteer Ireland works to promote and celebrate volunteering in Ireland, and does a great job in bringing people who want to volunteer together with the many organisations who badly need volunteers.  Last year I volunteered to photograph Veronica Lucas, a finalist in the Volunteer Ireland Awards.  This year I went along to shoot their annual meeting with local politicians from the various counties around Ireland where Volunteer Ireland have a presence.  This is just a sample of photos from that day…
